I’m A Thomas Nelson Book Review Blogger

by Donna Maria

Y know how I love books. I love reading books, talking about books, looking at books and hoarding books. In fact, one reason why I have hosted the weekly Indie Business Radio Show since 2005 is so I can be in touch with the latest books and authors who can help you grow your small business. I even record and edit videos about the books I enjoy. (You can watch some of them here and here.) My love for books is also one reason why I am excited to be accepted into the Thomas Nelson Publishers Book Review Blogger program.

I review for Thomas Nelson Book Review Bloggers

I learned about this program from Michael Hyatt, the CEO of Thomas Nelson. We follow each other on Twitter. (Follow me here. Follow Michael here.) The first book I have requested to review is Knockout Entrepreneurby former heavyweight boxing champion turned entrepreneur George Foreman. I am interested in this book for many reasons, not the least of which is I want to learn how Foreman transitioned from athlete to entrepreneur. I’m sure he has some interesting tips to offer and I plan to share some of the best ones in my review.

According to Thomas Nelson, the book is shipping as we speak so I should have it in a few days. In that case, I plan a review by the end of the month. Stay tuned!

Question: Do you like books as much as I do? If so, maybe you’d be interested in the Thomas Nelson Book Review Blogger program too. Check it out, and let me know if you apply!

Isn't it exciting! I have applied to be a book review blogger too. I'll be reading and reviewing "Fearless" by Max Lucado.

Hi Carol: I'm glad you applied too. They must have my book on the slow boat because it's been over a week and still not here. I'm waiting with baited breath. I know it will be good! Let me know how you like "Fearless," as I may have to request that one next. (If they have any left! LOL!)

oh my gosh, dM, I would love to do this too! Honestly though, there are stacks and literal stacks of books gathering dust on my beside table, my kitchen table, my living room table, it is so embarrassing. I know so much in my heart that all leaders are readers; maybe as soon as my business launches more successfully I can follow suit!!!! I am glad that you read for a leading Christian publisher too!
