Indie Shopping is More Fun Than Ever!

Based on mountains of feedback we received after the first show last week, we made some exciting changes to make Indie Shopping.TV even more fun for everyone! Keep reading to learn more!

1. Evening Time Slot

Many people told us that they were unable to access the show from the computers at work or during the middle of the day. Since most women shop online during the late evenings and night hours, our new evening format makes it easier and more convenient for you to gather around your laptop with our Indie and your friends.

2. Longer Show Format

Lots of people said that 10 minutes was not enough time for them to get to know the story behind the Indie. Our new 30 minute show format allows viewers to get to know the Indie and the inspiring story behind his or her unique products.

3. Raffles

The raffles were a hit last week so we are continuing them. During the show, viewers have a chance to win something fun and wonderful that has been supplied by one of our media partners. Tomorrow night, we'll be raffling off a tee-shirt provided by ODesk, a company that connects business owners with the contract workers they need to be successful.

Tonight, Roberta's raffling off some of her large jars of sugar scrub too!

4. Cocktails & Conversation

Because it's Friday night, we thought it would be fun to have a sort of Girls Night In. The show starts at 10:15pm EST, but the chat will open up at 10:00pm. We invite you to join in early, start chatting and share the beverage you are drinking during the show. It can be water, tea, a glass of wine, your favorite cocktail or anything you enjoy and wish to share. "Cocktails" are not necessary of course (my "cocktail" of choice during the show will be good old H2O!), but it sounded so good with "conversation," so we just couldn't resist.

5. How to Join Us!

It's easy to join us. Just log onto Indie Shopping.TV at 10:00pm EST with your favorite beverage in hand, and get ready for some fun Cocktails & Conversation with your Indie-loving friends and with Lisa Stewart, who will share the story behind how she has turned her unique talents and gifts into a thriving business.

Oh! And get a little last minute shopping done as well! Lisa will be offering special pricing on selected items that can be shipped as the perfect gift for special people on your list who are weary of the "same old, same old."

6. Upcoming Indies on Indie Shopping!!

We are already booking shows for next year!

January 16, 2009, 10:15pm EST: Rosanne Tartaro of SunRose Aromatics returns for more handmade aromatherapy products made with organic and wild crafted ingredients.

January 30, 2009, 10:15pm EST: Christine White-Stanton of Scandle Candle. Christine makes delicious and candles that double as skin loving warm massage oils.

February 27, 2009, 10:15pm EST: Jill Bidwell of Bidwell Botanicals returns with handmade soap, lotions, creams and other bath and body care products.

What do you think?

We'd love to hear your feedback, questions and comments about the show, and if you get a chance, send kudos to Lisa for her Indie spirit in the comments section below.
