You Need A Vision

by Donna Maria

I‘m planning a Vision Board Afternoon for my family. We’ll invest several hours bonding, laughing and creating vision boards to visualize and share what’s important to us and what we want to achieve as a family and as individuals.

As I explained this to my 6-year old son (pictured), I listed some of the things we would need for the event, like crayons, scissors, a board, glue, etc. After I was done, he said, “You forgot something.” I said, “What?”

He said. “You need a vision.”

Ha ha – very cute. And so impressive of you to be planning this way with your family. I think it’s brilliant for you to all work together on shared vision and goals. And, it’s good to start them early too =)

I wish I had started earlier. I’m thankful to be able to share what I learn with as many people as possible, most especially with my children. They are the future and it’s my job to get them ready for it! I remember seeing Tweeted photos of you and your MasterMind friends doing vision boards — I think it was you. Anyway, I’ve kept that in my mind and considered it often as I’ve made the decision to take this step with my husband and children.
